Recently, the large-load turntable cart + rail transfer cart combination equipment customized by our BEFANBY company's Brazilian customer successfully completed on-site commissioning and was officially put into use. This system is designed to solve the complex transportation needs of multiple tracks and multiple workstations in the workshop. It integrates the technology of two-way rail transfer cart with all-round rotating turntable structure, realizes the flexible switching and precise transfer of equipment between multiple directions, and further improves the automation level and transportation efficiency of the customer's workshop.
The turntable cart is the core of the docking route and is installed at the key node position of multiple cross tracks. The 360-degree omnidirectional rotation function of the bottom layer can accurately dock with tracks in different directions to achieve seamless steering. The upper customized rail transfer cart adopts two sets of wheel drive design methods and uses hydraulic lifting to run along the longitudinal and transverse tracks respectively. Under the guidance of the turntable, it can switch directions freely between multiple tracks, completely breaking the limitations of "single route, fixed workstation" of traditional transfer carts.
The entire system is specially customized according to the actual working conditions of the customer's site. Taking into full consideration the material transportation rhythm and track intersection position of the workshop, it is equipped with modern intelligent positioning, automatic parking, limit protection, emergency stop button, wireless remote control and other functions to ensure high efficiency and safety during operation. In practical applications, this combined handling solution successfully realizes the high-frequency transfer of molds and parts between multiple production stations, greatly reducing manual operation time and handling errors, and improving overall operation efficiency.
The combination of the turntable cart and the rail transfer cart not only achieves a high degree of coordination and modularization in structural design, but also introduces PLC intelligent modules at the system control level. It realizes multi-cart coordinated scheduling and automatic avoidance functions to ensure the efficiency and safety of multi-station and multi-route concurrent operation. This project is another successful practice of our company in the customization of intelligent handling systems.
